The Chief Secretariat of the Southern Provincial Council has won two awards in the annual report preparation competition organized by the Sri Lanka Financial Accountants Association. The Chief Secretariat of the Southern Provincial Council has been able to win the gold award in the competition between provincial councils and the bronze award in the competition between ministries and departments. It is special that the Chief Secretariat, which received the silver award in 2019, received the gold award this year. This report was prepared under the supervision of Mr. Ananda Amaradeva, Director of the Accounts and Payments Department of the Provincial Treasury of the Southern Province Chief Secretary's Office. These awards were recently presented at the ceremony held at the Bandaranaike International Conference Hall and the event was attended by Mr. Sumit Alahakon, Chief Secretary of the Southern Provincial Council, Mr. Sunil Poddiwala, Deputy Chief Secretary (Finance) and Mr. Ananda Amaradeva, Director (Accounts and Payments).
